help making a towel/blanket.

Post by Dargrin »

So I got this figure that I want to put on a blanket/towel on some static grass. I tried paper towel but it didn't look right.

Any help out there?

Why not a thin sheet of green stuff?

I thought about that but I was hoping for something more...fluffy. I also have already made a base with static grass and not sure if it would look right. If I absolutely have to scrap the base work I will but I am hoping for other ideas.

im not very good with gs but i think static grass would be difficult to control and paint, if you're using gs maybe you could somehow mottle/dab the surface of the gs with a brush to give it a rough ish/ fluffy look. Just an idea im sure some of the sculptors out there can give you better advice.

I'd do the same what arctica sugested but unstead of brush I'd use some fabric with thick fibre - I actually did such thing once or twice
