Armorcast Phantom Titan with major conversions WIP

Post by djinn24 »

As many of you have probably seen in the past, at least in pics is an Armorcast Phantom Titan. Here is the first pic of it assembled minus the arms. I posted it next to my WIP Revenant for a size reference.

Well I HATE the way the legs look this model so my first step was to redo the legs!

Fist I cut the knees out of the joint.

I then cut the hips so I could bow the legs in to give it a normal stance.

Here is the product filled and in the stance I was looking for:

I am planning on hip guard plates like the revenant. I am going to custom build the feet with hoofs style, ince again like the revenant.

PLEASE questions and comments are very welcome.

That's one hell of a serious undertaking! The model is so huge that I doubt I could ever finish it. Are you going to airbrush/spray paint it or use a big paintbrush?

That 3rd titan on the far right is so realistic, the skin tones are perfect and the freehand on his clothing is just awesome cos its optimus prime !

Good luck on the other two models ;) not sure i could do either of them any justice.

Much better leg positioning, well done with the conversion so far
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

The work you are putting into it is definitely going well. I am curious if you are going to air brush it as well.

I just picked up a new Airbrush (a Devilbiss DAGR) and I will probably airbrush almots the entire thing. I have also started on some minor conversions with the head and the weapons as well. Anyone have any suggestions?
