he reminds me of Caramon, one of characters from Dragonlance Chronicles (I'm not sure of the title, some book in AD&D world) - huge warrior, not very bright though. Anyway, it happened once, that he and his friends were running away from something. Uphill. I quote the book from memory:
"Caramon was so tired he left his spears"

how many exactly did he have? apart from all other weapons he had
