New 40k army rumour.

Do you still remember that some people use miniatures for gaming?

New 40k army rumour.

Post by ToMaZ »

Heya,

the latest rumour on different forums:

GW is going to release yet another new army. Named "The Vespid" Wasp-like creatures that have a close connection to the Tau.

The rest was irrelevant. Now I don't believe these rumours yet it could as well be a prank. Looking at the art, it is drawn in kind of the same style like the tyranid new concept art. But it seems more like an ally unit for the tau like the kroot are.

Anyway... does anyone has somemore info or opinions ;)

dont see gw releasing a new army for at least a couple of years.
even then they would be better off doing something already hinted at in the masses of black library books

The Vespid are going to be an ally for the Tau, kinda like Kroot. The artwork is indeed from a GW artist named Roberto Cirillo. So not an army as such but a new troop type for an existing army. (also they are rumourd to have living armour, whatever that means...)

I hope that this project will disappear in warp. I just don't like tau and similar gw ideas. Well, I'm rouge trader and 2nd edition fan anyway :)
