Differently than Benathai, I personally like such hints and enjoy looking for thereferences, and the sources of the facts used. I like them if they are used in an interlligent way, not too obviously....

I loved these references in Warhammer RPG, liked them in WFB, like them in 40K.

The inspiration for this servitor is too obvious to me, and as Benathai pointed - some people may feel offended by it. Was it a wise move on GW's side? I don't know... But I prefer more sublte references....

seriously...indeed mahon i agree. sculpting drawing etc is just a man exercising his world preception to others or to himself..so all has real life references...
