I like both :)
Somehow Mr Gleeful reminds me on a character from the A.Kurosawa movie "Zoku Sugata Sanshiro" ("Judo Saga 2"). There was a Japanese guy quite similar to this one.

Great concepts, and the miniatures are pretty nice too. A bit "lumpy" for my taste, but nice nonetheless.
