Squigball 3000 GD Duel Project

Post by Darkmessiah »

had this idea a little while ago for a diorama, changed it a little for a duel. the squigs will be painted in race trim, with go faster stripes and numbers. thinking about placing a trophy on the tree stump to show more of a race scene, although i want to avoid it lookin like a start/finish line...
the area behind the wall will have some long grass their, and am thinking about sculpting a badger in the hole in the tree...

Great idea, I like it :D
Good quality, simple sculpture what could be a good thing for painting ... but doesn't have to. That is why I can't wait for painted version.

I like the composition - especially that the first squig almost jumps off the base.

Very funny idea. Maybe you can add some small animals, like mice or rabbits, on the side opposite to the tree, watching the race or fleeing? If you want to make it totally funny, the watching creatures should be standing behind a security line or something similar.

But that's just a proposition which came into my mind when I saw the pictures.

try to correct the stones above the tree

they look like chewing gum, and once paint the GD judges will see that you use green stuff

take s mall stone and hit your green stuff with this stone
this way you will give to your stone a more realsitic effect

good luck :D
