Old guy wants in ;)
I've been playing games since I was in my teens and now as I'm 41 I'm getting more and more into the painting of figures and regularly check this site for tutorials (wet pallet is brilliant BTW).
Thought I'd say hi and thanks guys and girls for all your help (even if you didn't know you were helping)
and I look forward to many years of backbreaking model painting

RE: Old guy wants in ;)
Thanks for the welcomes, I have to admit I stopped playing the games quite a few years ago now (I still have all the books though) and my figures were in storage until I moved into my current flat 3 years ago when I un-packed them and dusted them off (actually that's a lie I never dust!).
I'm still trying to figure out things like paint thickness and proper use of highlights and are currently waiting for the kitchen to be finished (plasterers in there as I write) so I can get my living room back and can start painting again. Until I get set up I'll make a new thread in the WIP section so you can see what I have done and what I'm currently working on so please please please give me all your tips and hints in there

Hello there and welcome.
I wish I had more time these days - both for painting and posting. Some technical issues had to take precedence, but I will be back with my devastating criticism
Now I am preparing something fun and special, so give me some time and many of you will surely enjoy it!
have fun

41 is old? Dang. I think it might be time to say I'm 30 with more than a decade of experience...
