big fat muscular naked greek guy sculpt

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

big fat muscular naked greek guy sculpt

Post by fatgoblin »

here is something I did for fun over the last many weeked. It started out as a fat zombie, then I had too much fun with the musculature and turned it into a muscled fat man, half way through I saw 300 and it turned into a naked greek...

anyway, he's about 29mm to his eyes, how you guys like it

wow Kai! you made a lot of progress in sculpting. Your works are more realistic and proportional than before. How many sculpts have you done so far?

The only thing which can (in my opinon) let the whole mini down a bit is the head. Not that it's bad but it's still not the same level as the rest of the body. Besides that - good sculpting skills, concept of dynamic composition, and knowledge of anatomy.

Congrats!

thanks!

I have not sculpted that many but then I abandoned a few here and there as well. Maybe 20 or so? Still on the hard climb up... But then its exciting in that every piece you learn more. This one in particular was a bit more involved, taking a lot of time, referencing books and got a lot of useful comments from other people.

I like this sculpt a lot. :D Very well done, he looks like a chubby Metal Smith going to stomp some butt.

thanks! :)

ya there are a few mistakes with the muscles but most were to hide earlier errors. I started making it free and easy and only half-way decided to be more careful and take out the anatomy books! haha. No excuse for the feet though unfortunately! haha
