nice set. i wonder whether this orc thingy is gs or not. goatman`s dio is not made to his usual standard. i`m tad surprised about incredibly high scores on the knight by banshee. surely it`s nice but imo nothing spectacular, especially considering the scale. the blends could be smoother and the face somehow doesn`t convinces me - looks a tad lifeless. love the fluffy`s sophie - especially the wings. also it`s incredible how she made the face - somehow she made its features even more sharp and skinny. the clean execution, eyes (how did she do that!) is something that blew me away when i saw mrika`s skarre. looks likei`m in nitpicking mood at the moment though, `cause i`m not too fond about the way she put light on clothing. also imo it`s one of the models that has 100% technique but less in terms of "feel". Executordeho`s mage is fantastic. i especially love the way he painted the glass bottles. Iguazzu`s heroine is something for all high fantasy folks. Pity this particular model is not sale - i`d love to paint this one too. but the best in this set imo is sylviefrancois`s piece - superb idea.

Actually I am not very impressed with Mrika's work this time, and you're right - Banshee's painted better faces already.
But I like Goatman's model - even if it's not his best work, it has powerful atmosphere IMHP.
Fluffy's paintjob of Sophie's wings is breath taking.

And I just love the commissar. Maybe it's not the world's best mini, but for me it really works!

yup agree on mrika`s skarre. what blew my away were the technical aspects especially those damn eyes. no "feel" though - it`s just techically incredibly well painted

I like goatman's piece from a technical and some what of an atmospheric, but to me, I would think the imagery would be more suited to a cogboy instead of an astropath. sylviefrancois's posting blew me away, but all of them are styles and abilities I can only dream of aspiring to. . . . :curtain:
