So there is no danger for WM and Hordes. They clearly state that they aren't going to drop the community that invested in WM and Hordes (with a slight hint to another comp) and are planning to expand them even more.
The prepainted stuff is to attract another group of people and to make the company grow...

still I wouldn't have expect that from PP.

I don't want to say it is not truth. However, as a long-time hobbyist and not-so-long-time retailer I have to state, that manufacturer's announcements concerning future plans, release dates etc. do not mean much to me.
it is obvious, that they had to state publically that pre-painted CMG would not affect their metal lines. the same statement I read after Reaper released their PPM. We'll see what future brings.

Exactly! What did you expect them to say?
"We don't care about you any more, scr*w you and go to hell!"

Come on, it's business. They'll take the most profitable path and feed us with smooth words to avoid burning down bridges - just in case...

Sounds like Rackham... ;)

Anyway, I think PP is honest. They always had the 'no bullshit' approach and if something was going to happen, the community was notified long long before it actually happened.

Mahon is right though... business is business. But then again, I think he is being too negative about it ;) :P

Not negative :) Just prefer to be a bit pesimistic instead of hyper-optimistic and naive ;)
