Well as you might have gathered from the title i'm making my army a new plaything to reap skulls for Khorne.
anyway i had a look at a couple of articles and came up with this...

still need to tidy a few bits up and probably add a few more spikes aswell.
Oh and of course i need a Khorne icon or 2
i quite like the bannerpole/8pointed star type thing the defiler has but cant really see where to fit it to still look good :?

Whaduyutink?

I am not quite convinced...
Defilers were a bit too 'innovative' for me, and this one goes even a step further...

I am not sure I like the new additions to the world of 40K...

I dig this conversion. What articles did you read to get ideas for this? It reminds me of the Epic version. Great work. :D

Actually it was in a WD battle report and I know there are several versions floating around the internet.

I think it's cool they're converting Daemon Engines and making cool vehicle conversions like the Plague Reaper Bane Blade.

My brother is working on a Knight Household, which in turn when he's finished I'm gonna steal and bring them to the other baddy side!

i get a bit confused with the nurgle bblade... even if looks ok whats with the canon organic thingy? possessed engines = lumps of organic matter? does it ejaculates bullets?
Also whats with the green soup on reservoirs? Sometimes less is more... a aged, full with heavy rust and battle damage work would look so much better.

On topic: Lonewolf its a competent convo inspired by GW convo but you can do much better mate  i dont know why, but i never liked the defiler kit, its unbalanced and design wise its broken... your convo makes it a bit lmore interesting.

Lonewolf, any chance at getting an assembly description from you? Or which WD's inspired you?

Or is anyone can provide a description of how it is created, I would greatly appreciate it. I am slowly getting back into to some painting and converting.

Before the Defiler first came out, I created one from scrap pieces and an old space marine tank, but mine only had 4 legs and 2 ork mechanical claws. Will have to post some pics some time. It is base coated to be an Iron Warrior's defiler.
