One thing I take care with is metal shaving from prep work. Esp if you work on an eating surface.

The same goes with resin dust. If you sand, grind, drill, or file resin wear a mask, and preferably work outdoors or at least in room only used for your hobby.

If you are using a power tool with metal or resin wear safety glasses and a dust mask.

Wear those skin tight 'painting' or 'doctor' gloves (well the real doctor ones are too expensive) when using spray paints or varnishes. Why spray poison on your skin? It soaks into your blood.

you know why some of us don't take those safety measures? because it's easier and more comfortable without them - even if it's bad for one's health :(

since today's midday I've been wondering what happened to my hand... I've noticed bubble's like after nettling (?) but I haven't been playing with nettles this day...

...and I've just reminded I've washed off some minis with pipes-cleaning liquid today and got a chemical burn...
shit...:?

yesterday I was preparing some bases for my deaders; simple drilling job - piece a cake;
suddenly I noticed my cats playing... I just couldn't stop watching them and had no idea when the borer penertated the base and got my finger :banghead:
fortunately thanks to my cryxian reflex I immediately managed to turn the machine off so there shouldn't be mark on the finger :wink:

hi guys/gals
i dont believe all these cuts and bruises, drinking paint, painting lemonade, superglueing yourself is in the name of getting a good model, i think you are all mad, and need to have your tools taken away, and you should be locked in a padded room forever. :bonk:
:lol: :banghead:
