Brush licking is something you should not do, even though it is a hard habit to break. NOT because of the type of paint (No matter what brand you use) but because of what the brushes go through before they get to you. Especially sable brushes they are treated with many chemicals to preserve them. Not to mention most are manufactured in China which are not governed by any regulations.

Vallejo is not the problem and never was, it will stay on my paint desk. Rumors can spread like wild fire even when they are not based on facts.

Sue, we wish you the best and are glad to hear you are recovering well.

Cheers,
Robert

Holy ****

I've never been a big fan of brush licking, but maybe I'll finally convince my friends to stop doing it.

Thank you for the welcome! Now...why won;t it upload my avatar? Where is the party? Will I be throttled for not wanting to paint GW or attend Games Days? Did my signature finally post in this message? Anyone here like dragons? (My current project) Anyone here have something against Dark Sword, Reaper, or Thunderbolt Mountain? Come to Gen Con! Ummmm...who's the best at giving detailed critiques here? And despite marrying into a Polish/Bohemian family, I eat Polish food, but do not speak Polish.

Woohoo! Sue finally joined!

Hey Sue, if you look under the Off Topic area there's a "Hi, My Name is..." spot if you want to post a thread to introduce yourself. Not required, but we tend to say hi to folks when they do. Plus it let's people know that you're looking for critiques, etc.
