HE Silverhelms

Post by Florian »

Hi!

Well, after some time some new High Elves, but this time a whole unit of Silver Helms. Actually they are currently 4 guys(and girls *g*) accompanied by a noble, but I wanted to take some pictures already, so if you are very strict in terms of GW rules, just think that the noble serves as a stand in for a regular knight now.

Btw. here are the CMON links, I am happy about every vote, and of course even more about comments.

There are some other pictures of the Noble (surprise here *g*) and the musician available, but these are older pictures and in fact you can find all links on the CMON description of the unit.

Greetings from Austria, Florian

greetings!
I never liked he's orthodox bright color scheme but I love Your technique  I mean nmm and smooth blending; for me it's impressive

hey Florian it's nice to see some more of your lovely high elves. Despite the cheerful bright colours the unit looks like a whole and not like a bunch of models put next to eachother. Great job !

Very cool looking unit :)

The painting is very good! I like the smooth and sorft colours! Somehow your paintingstyle gives the unit a whole other appearance :)
You should have filled the gap between the horse's neck and body though. And the horse's manes look a bit strange IMO. (but I don't really know how to improve that :?)

Overall a very good job.

The paintjob is very clean. Good work.

But like ToMaZ said the gaps should be filled.

Hi!

THX for your Feedback, the gaps are already filled, shame on me that I missed that during the painting-period. I did'nt even see it on the pics myself, thanks for the "hint".

@Mordred: How is the progress of your Dark Elves? Still working on them?

Ciao, Florian

fantastic NMM and really shame about the gap (glad to hear you filled it already :) )

the color scheme is a bit too blue for me, but it works, and it's just a matter of personal taste.
great job

The best HE ever... I like your technics very much. I love this blue color. Maybe you can give us some more natural photos. I will be really glad to see how this unit look on the table... And how do you paint that horses?
