dangerous aspect of the hobby

last night I finally had some time for hobby:
I wanted to paint some conversions, make another one and have some good time;
I was making base for da orky vehikl' therefore there were some wood to cut - no challenge for wallpaper knife with brand new, deadly sharp blades...
works were progressing when suddenly... CUT!
ok, sth happened: doesn't hurt, model is fine ant there's lotta blood leaking on the desk...
I went to the bathroom, put the finger under stream of cold water but there was still lot of blood

after bleeding stopped for a while we had this:

since I live in new flat for ~3-4 weeks only I haven't got any first aid kit so I had to be creative: girdle, toilet paper and advesive tape did fine job so today I can visit drugstore and get supplies;

conclusion:
looks like playing with wallpaper can be messy

gross was trying to keep 3 cats away from the cut off nail last night

and yeah - I haven't bleeded out during the night so seems I'm fine - thank god I paint using right hand!
