my modern survivor sculpts (added 2 more, Pa and Gran)

How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

because their poses are awkward. Even if human body may be shaped like this (especially during movement) it doesn't necessarily look good when captured in sculpt.

This may just be me, but the faces on the hippie and the girl look a little too wide. That's part of what looks odd to me.

I think the pose of the guy is ok, the pose of the girl is a bit odd, didn't quite get it to what I want. The faces are on the fella is a bit wider than I would like, and the girl's whole head is a bit bigger than I would like.

the Pa's pose is a bit strange IMHO, but the gran is excellent. Reminds me the old hag from the "preacher" series.
Excellent and characterful job on this one!

thanks! :)

The old hag was indeed inspired by that dried up nut case from hell, except of course she is not wheelchair bound. But she represents the ideal redneck matriach to me! This was her a few centuries younger, still mean as anything!
