not many nids around this year...

in my opinion the quality was...a bit full of ups and downs...there were so many entries that got the boot because of wrong base/base not removable/not enough miniatures in the regiment or squad (it's difficult for foreign people ofc with germany having very tight base restrictions every year, then again the rules were available in english a good bit back...), etc. so a drybrushed plague bearer regiment wins a demon, etc.

most wins were awesome though and the overall standard in the prestige categories was good. I am glad goatman finally won the sword too ^^

Come one bases are a bit like a extra, they should not be disqualifiers of great minis... but rules are rules.

When can you see your great minis pics trov? and congrasts :)

the rules go along the lines that entries should be legal gaming miniatures. unless entered as duels, dioramas, or in open category....

oh i see, it can be bigger bases if display plinths are detachable from the bases?

its their ruling, cant argue with that :) but whats the problem with the plinths not detachable? cant see how this can be a disqualify factor.

you know, if they want to disqualify some models (eg. to make judging easier) it's a good way to do it...

it's strange rules, think we all agree...however it's their contest, their rules...as long as they announce it correctly and stick to them on judgment day ^^ one can accept them and enter or disagree and not *shrugs*

hmmm, I am not aware of any team efforts really.
