Deco should be really happy if he collected rackham stuff - he hates painting...

Personally I think rackham is going to loose lots of fans if they change to painted plastics. The people I know that buy rakcham do so because they want to paint beautifull models. Not to play with them (as the rules aren't that balanced it seems.)
Well it's their loss, there are always other miniature companies

Yeah, just hop they won't start doing this sh!t also!
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: Rackham Plastics
the main point why they go plastic is that they want to merge CO+Ragna into one game, make the rules unit based -> you need more miniatures on the table, etc.
there will be army books as well. byebye skirmish system. I haven't played a single CO game in ages because the game was too much influenced by the dices. I however used to play it because it was a skirmishsystem, there's a nice and established CO comunity and I even managed to paint a whole "army" once.
the way I see rackham headed both production-wise and rule-wise I don't see me getting interested again. However the rulechange MIGHT actually make it a good game, who knows...just don't have high hopes really as all the changes are basically aimed towards "how to make more money"...
