These are just concept drawings, not the artwork from the armybook!

I think the artwork on the army book is real good

re the horses: the movement of the horses is awkward, at best they look like old riding school ponies. For example, a well trained, or even very good quality horse would never stretch out it's neck like that, it would be collected with an arched neck and hold itself differently.

re: rank and file bowmen: a world better than the old plastics, which were right up there with the Beach Ball Dwarf plastics, and goofy orcs as being some of the worst GW minis ever made IMHO. I think they are quite good.

re: dragon: Never did like that one, once you get over the initial rush from the presentation with the great backdrop, nice bright paint, and take a look at the mini itself... I do not like the little salamanders either :P

Warhawks & riders: erg! :P sorry, can't think of anything nice to say about them. I think they look ridiculous.

Treemen & Dryads: scary stuff, I like them.

Spellsingers, waywatchers, etc. : very solid, I like them a lot, though the two upside down Wardancers look stooopid

the scetches are ok. what bothers me more is, like with the nids: AWESOME, and I really mean A W E S O M E !! Scetches and then the minis...aehum...
