Illusionrip refers to Mig Jimenez - the ace and guru of AFV modelling. Yes, MIG productions are his products - great stuff for those who are more seriously into modelling.

as for the pirate - I had the some doubts as you Szary, but Illusionrip explained it to me that it's just an early stage... Gerat job on the mini, especially the shirt

lile update of the face.....not finish, i will add some light purple reflect to complete the tanned colour flesh

in the deepest shadow i have add some turquoise touch to give more contrast and give a cold color to the shadow a contrario to the highlight who are hot

so this time try the "demi style" on my sicarius base....

i would like it quite dark with no bright color, to avoid to hide the sicarius first eye impact

use acrylics paint, filter, and resin+pigment
