last night I was supposed to help my friend in pinning his khadorian tous... but we ended up playing

I fielded almost all infantry in my collection against sorsha and her group;
I'm afraid sh!t will get too thick when my friend gets mortars and second devastator this week but now I still could field th swarm

-goreshade (+6 bane thralls as feat)
-slayer
-death chicken
-6 mechanithralls
-6 mechanithralls
-6 bilethralls
-skarlock
-2 pistol wraiths
-2 machine wraiths
-gorman di wulffe

-sorsha
-juggernaut
-devastator
-destroyer
-3 grey lords
-ninja eiryss

main things I learnt:
-slayer: unti the last moment I was sure I wasted 110 points but all in all it was he who ripped sorsha apart in the final charge
-deathripper: I love it!

last time I used it to slam juggernaut but this time I manared to slam and therefore knosk down juggernaut AND destroyer with a single slam!

:D:D besides it managed to kill 2 greylords in melee so it were well spent points - probably the best spent points in that engagement

-bile thralls: I managed to purge eiryss thanx to them and that's all - I.ll probably drop them if my opponent fields more template weapons
-mechanithralls - good as usually; one unit managed to hold sorsha in a place so I could bring slayer to her

-destroyes: once again I forgot not to chagre it never-ever without being 101% sure to annihilate it! a single rain of death annihilated 5 bane thralls, 2 mechanithralls, gorman and juggernaut, also making a crater in the table

today I lost fast engagemant against sorsha:
in the final round I forgot about sustained attack rule of asphyxious ' prodder

another day of cryx vs khador war

today we had 450pts game, and here are results of my observations:
-deathjack: necrovent is great especially against all sorts of ninjas like eiryss or wind rushed-sorsha
-deathripper: love it more and more each game I use this unit; and I don't mean arc-noding ability but it's speed and possibilities created by that! this perfect for blocking charges ot engaging enemy jacks for turn or two, just to prevent them from doing anything more deadly than crushing deathchicken

-skarlock: although while assisting goreshade the most powerful spell skarlock can cast is consumption, for me it's still worthy fielding that model: damaging destroyer is much easier with such help
-mechanithralls: today I used them mostly for feeding dethjack - they fit such role very well

Hate to play against Cryx swarm armies with Bastard as a caster. Nothing to hit. No casting. And those annoying wraiths everywhere.

I'm waiting for a moratar... maybe two.

another day of cryx invasion on khador land

today I fielded 2 machine wraiths on small battle and now I'm f00king sure - on large battles I'll try to field as many of them as I can convert!
they forced sorsha to sbend 4 FOC to finally banish wraith out of devastator and can't imagine what possibilities can gives 6 ot them! :WOW:

ToMaZ, there is nothing in the Menoth list that is as broken as Goreshade bringing a unit of Bane Thralls to the table from nowhere. Unless of course you look at the Monolith Bearer, or the new Temple Flameguard Unit Attachment, or you read the FAQ and see that the High Reclaimer can bring cavalry back with full health with his feat. Nope, nothing broken over here.

At least everything I can bring that is "broken" starts off on the table and is actually taken into account for how many points I have. Then again, we all know the Banes are going to come out, we all know the freeze is going to happen, and we all know that the Choir Warpriest needs to be killed a.s.a.p. This is WM, after all.

I really don't care for all those 'broken' topics/discussions... The rules are the rules, period. If you can't get over it, stop playing warmachine.
Sometimes some of those rules are just sucky, for me or for my opponent. I don't mean it's broken... just bad for my battleplan and army

@Aom: yeah, don't forget about no shooting + no spellcasting allowed choirs or continous fire effect for everyone...
