How to convert or sculpt a miniature? How to make a decent base or even a full diorama?!

Superb...:P... This Mini was "not fluffy", and had a "lack in the spirit of the game"...

Tssssss...:(... They are nuts, I mean, come on, this was great and it was quite blackmailed just because it was... what, too well sculpted...?...

Gee...

You should've add some oversized weapons and purity seals in silly places - I'm sure it would give You a statue

3 skulls? Only 3 skulls? I would disqualify you myself

Speaking seriously - I'm not very surprised. GD is a one-company event and this model is indeed very ilyad-like.
I'm a hobbyists/gamer/painter - I don't care, I'd use it in my chaos army, if I had one. GW though has to protect their interest by showing their style - especially on GD coverage :)
I bet they are now discussing the possibility of forbidding entering scratch-built minis ;)

I left a comment on CMON. THe sculpt is great, and like I said, take it to other competitions and win something there.

Trov - is it me, or the left palm is slightly smaller than the right one?
The other thing that bothers me is his position. I know he is on steps (or rocks that look like steps), but body should remain upright, I suppose. Now he is looking like he's falling down.

puh...can't tell myself...in any way the hand holding the shield is a bit "weaker" than the sword-hand, not as elegant. fingers are a little too thick.

about the pose, i wanted him to be runing down a hill or at least statring to run, the first thing you d when you do that is leaning forward. could be i didnt get it right, but i thought it was ok :)

it his! lots of tension on positioning and details of some contracted muscles in right places really shows how much you improved as a sculptor...

Heck theres picky than superpicky and finally pickytitan persons that are so picky that pick on their own pickyness  Nameless just broke the chart  kidding man
