last night I woke up with the idea for chaos character conversion in mind...
atm I'm at work drawing some pity sketches (just to prevent forgeting the ideas) but there's one problem:
the body will be based on plastic ogre; everything is fine except the damn boots
I don't like them but even more don't like santa's furry boots You can see on my ogres
so maybe You have any ideas how to solve it? ogre's legs are too big to add boots from other miniature so looks like there's greenstuff job left...
any ideas?

Sculpt metal boots. Cut most of the original shape off, and then sculpt. IF you don't want metal boots, you can always try to sculpt a chaos warrior boot.
I thought about chaos warriors boots - they are great but I'm not sure I'll be able to gs sth at least similiar;
ogryns' boots is good idea - they looks simple ergo I should be able to make sth like it

Isn't it funny how people are different. I like the Ogre boots. I like the metal edging to them - helps put some oompt behind a kick in the Friday night gnobblar distance kicking contest down the local pub.
So, as unhelpful as it is, I would say keep the boots as is.
