A litlle update. I've tried nmm a second time yesterday (on the elbow and collar) and a third time today on the helmet. I think the helmet looks better than the rest. Don't pay any attention at the sword and armour. The sword looks like stone :) and the armour isn't finished yet.

How does it look? Any progress? Any comments??

Crap, I've just noticed a red spot on the khorne symbol... and a huge moldline on the inside of the (let's say) horn :x:x

yeah it does, but it makes for a nice practice object. I rather mess up this mini than one that I like :)

to me your NMM has improved from your first pic, much smooter :D
i don't know if it is the photo, but in my opinion you should use more sharp highlighting with white

I agree, the blending is much better, but I think the first piece you did looks more like metal than the mask. Highlight up to white, instead of up to yellow, otherwise you get this "yellow plastic" look. Don't be afraid to highlight using (almost) pure white

Ok I corrected the helmet a bit today (and got rid of those moldlines ;) ). But I'm not satisfied about the colour. I can't seem to get the shine that makes it look like metal in it. So maybe anyone has any further pointers?
