Looking for Chicago GD ideas

Post by LadyEyes »

I'm not certain where to put this thread, so Mahon move it wherever is appropriate. :D

I'm looking for ideas/opinions about an entry for Chicago... I feel strange asking, but thought I might as well.

I'm looking at possibly doing a WHFB regiment, but would like something that would only take 5-6 models or would be something that could go a little quicker than 12+ foot troops. (Single figures, 40k vehicles, and sometimes large monsters are the harder categories.)

I make no promises to actually use any particular idea, but I promise I'll at least consider every idea given.

I'm an okay painter with little GD experience. But since I'm going, I might as well try for another entry. I would be really happy to make it to final round with something. [I'd be estactic if I manage to perform a miracle and take a bronze. (not happening, but a girl can dream ;))]

Any ideas that might spark something?

Dark Elf Beastmaster and 4 of the dog type beasts.

High Elves War hawk group.

Khemeri (sp) prince and Ushanbti Guard.

Just ideas, not sure how practicle.

High Elf Shadow Warriors are a small unit. Their cloaks also offer opportunity for some free-hand (which always impresses the judges).

The LotR categories usually have less participation than the others. Also, duels are fun and tend to be slightly less competitive.

Good luck with whatever you decide. :)

Mr. Illusionrip, if you look around a bit deeper you find some painted stuff by LadyEyes. Good stuff if I might add.:)
