Hello everyone!

After a long preparation we are finally ready to present our project on Indiegogo: FANTASYLAND! https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/fantasyland

Working on this project, which started as a joke and now become reality, it was really interesting: we worked from early summer until pratically tonight and we’re glad to make public our initiative on Indiegogo!

The collaboration with many artists was really nice , especially for finding people knowledgeable and helpful as Mirko Cavalloni (regarding painting), Stefano Moroni, Rossana Castellino (regarding the creation of the characters). Probably you already know the names of some sculptors: Allan Carrasco, who will sculpt “Toad King”, Raffaele Stumpo, George Georgy who carved the fantastic Nyara and many others (some of whom we can not write the names will sculpt extra characters if the goal will be surpassed).
Finally we can mention the fact that we are working at the board game of Aradia Miniatures but this is really a top secret project so we can not tell you more !
We hope you like our initiative, and now we'll leave you to contemplate our autumn cover, brilliantly realized by Stefano Moroni.

From the deep of the woods new strange creatures are coming.....and one is already here!
Every backer that spends 80 euro (including shipping costs) or more, will receive this miniature (in a scale of 54mm, real height 60mm) as a GIFT!!!



Harely the fury will be sculpted by Antonio Fernandez “Piqui” Lizaso.

ok, I took a closer look. I'm only really interested in the toad king. first of all, it seems I'm forced to buy 2 miniatures, there is no option to get just one. then...
whoah, €20 for shipping within the EU?
well, you're making it quite cost prohibitive for me.

Hi Nameless,
you can have only the toad king without other models. For every model that you want, you can insert only the price of that single model and then you have to write a comment with the model that you want!
About shipping cost: we’ll use fast and tracked shipping method to have the guarantee that every perk will arrive. With this method the shipping cost is different from country to country so we did a media and consider that every miniature has a lot of discount from the list price. Anyway, if you don’t want to pay shipping cost, you can collect your perks at World Model Expo of Stresa that will be in July 2014.

I doubt that if anyone who doesn't wants to pay 20,- Euro for shipping will happily dish out a lot more money for a plainticket, hotel and convention fees!

We follow your and Nameless suggestion and we decided to change shipping cost for who contribute for only 1, 2 or 3 models

Better but still expensive! I've done a Indiegogo for my Orcs and the shipping cost for sending 10 metal (!) miniatures worldwide was around 5,-. I admit it was packaged in a bubblewrap envelop and not a box but still... Plus resin is even lighter so maybe Italian post is bloody expensive or I just don't get where you are basing your pricing on...

We want the guarantee that every perk will arrive so we chose this kind of shipping method https://www.poste.it/resources/editorial ... istino.pdf , it is expensive but it arrives in few days and certainly. Its costs, as you can see, is around 30 euro so we insert 20 euro for worldiwide: this is a kind of compromise with the client that have not to pay the full price: he pay 20 and we pay 10.

Then, for 1, 2 or 3 model we can use another shipping method, this one: https://www.poste.it/postali/estero/assi ... ezzi.shtml .
As you can see, the price is correct. We don’t use “posta prioritaria” or others not-tracked shipping method because we need the guarantee that the perks arrive. I think is better to pay something more for shipping cost but have a tracked and fast shipping method.

Oh I agree, hope you don't get me wrong! But backers just hate paying for shipping, if I were you I'd post this same information on your campaign so then people really understand.
