Warmachine Khador Battlegroup

Post by Komrad »

Ello,

I got a Khador Battlegroup from Warmachine, they looks so big and badass and I can't resist buying them. Also this is my first time using snow flock as a base. I tried the Games Workshop's snow flock. I think it turn out pretty okay.

I wanted to paint some stars and Russian words on their armor but I chicken out at the last minute.

They look very nice.
I like the highlighting on Sorscha, metal parts and axes on Warjacks look really good.
Only the armours of Warjacks look a little flat but this maybe due to photos.
Overall great job :D

Thanks! Buys free minis for himself.

Browsing at CMON, I saw a bigger scale Kommander Sorsha!

Hmm, big red machines. Very nice Komrad, I highly approve.

The one peice of feedback I can see if Sorscha's red armor, which is coming out more pink than red (always a problem when using white to highlight red). I'd suggest a thinned out glaze of red or orange ink, to tone the highlights back to a more red color.

Hmm actually I wanted to give her a more feminine color, I'll try what DeadMilkman suggested.
