Selfmade Treekins planned - but how?

Post by Gottkaiser »

In April, I'm going to a tournament playing my loved Woodelves. I want to use Treekin, but I think they give the new falcons a hard run for their money of ugliest Mini ever. So I decided I will do them myself. But I'm not sure how.
A friend of mine designed my Treeman:

I like the look, but the Treekin are dead wood, not alive like Dryads or Treeman. I thought of making them look as if they were freshly risen from fallen trees and prepared logs. But would that differentiate enogu? Would there be need for a different painting? If any of you has suggestions, I'm more then willing to hear them.

Well Imho they're not that bad but only their faces suck! Somebody on a Dutch forum re-sculpted a Treeman's face but the same could be done with the Treekin.

Hope it helps...

the dead wood is not brown, you can see old fences or similar, and you see a grey/white color on that.
The dead wood is dry and have lot of cracks, and of course has no leaves.
i think you must think in that when you create your treekin
