I'll post a couple of better piccies soon, but thought I'd show him off quickly.

Wow this is a real Viking :) I like the metallics , horns, boots and tattoos.
Skin looks dry brushed and lacks different colors. Make a test and look at your own hand and you will see how many different colors your skin has - red, pink, purple, blueish. On such big miniature you could give it a try to make it look more natural.
There is glue visible on the right side of the base - such small details make the difference ;)
miniatures painted:
2011 - 83, 2012 - 38, 2013 - 45, 2014 - 56, 2015 - 95, 2016 - 106, 2017 - 22

and there is a mould line on the side of the base :)
anyway, I've already mentioned few things during the progress. You've replied it's your style and you feel comfortable with it and effects. if you are, I'll say no more, but only recommend trying other techniques in the future. Who knows, you might like them better than drybrushing :)

Thanks for comments!
Yeah gotta fix that base somehow.....the fitting for the feet wasn't perfect and his legs just would not bend enough to fit, do the base had to be bent slightly...
Plan is to use some modelling putty to resolve that issue.
As fir skin etc; yeah I know....I've yet to be a really good tutorial on some of the other processes. You might see some of them on the Drow figure I've just started though :)
