Ok here is todays work, im pretty happy with it, my best work yet.
Not happy about the slip in the beard, will have to be rectified later.
A lot of usefull tips on here, one question though. Im kinda a slow painter, when your using so little paint on youre brush how do you stop it from drying on the brush before it gets on the mini?

Agree. Depending on the brush you are using, it will hold some amount of paint. For example, I use the #1, WN Series 7 for most things. After removing the excess of paint I can do a maximum of 6,7 brush strokes on my mini. Then wash and reload.
There's not a lot of flesh on this, but it looks like you did a pretty good job with it from what I can see. It's kinda hard to tell... How much shading/highlighting did you do?
It's ok, think it was quite a dark wash then a couple of highlights. If I'm honest if I did it again I would make the overall skin tone darker. Being supposed to be a rugged dwarf an all that.
