The Fat Goblin Employment Agency

Ian Newbold (of Newbold World) had this fantastic idea of introducing goblins to his little fantasy setting and what better way to introduce them then by way of a pair of large obese slackers? And as a man of infinite generosity, he sent me a set of them awhile ago to play with.

So here are the Slacker brothers, together with some of their most trusted (not at all!) employees that make up the management team of the Fat Goblin Employment Agency, providers of goblinoid domestic solutions for an overworked population.

As far as I'm aware, these minis are not for sale yet. But keep an eye out for them. They are superb and everyone should grab a set or three!

Nice! Only flaw Imho (and that's in the sculpts) is that they all have about the same face if you know what i mean...

They are all goblins! There is a whole back story to them on the Newbold World website but unfortunately the website crashed and Mr Newbold has yet to restore everything. From memory, the two fat ones in the middle are the Slacker Brothers, who crawled out of the caves where goblins live to settle in the largest city of his fantasy setting. There they set up the Fat Goblin Employment Agency who provide goblins to the residents for all sorts of labour needs.

A different idea that I had was for them to work in the North Pole where they provide the exploited labour for Santa's sweat shop toy factory. The elves work in the nice clean one on the other side of the mountain where tourists come to visit.... The two bookkeepers books hold the names of those who have been naughty (red book) and those who have been nice (green book). I've wanted to have a christmas game for some time. Maybe if I start early I might get enough figures for the end of the year!
