I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself after seeing this forum. My name is Dan, I'm 33 and I live in New Hampshire in the US. I have been collecting miniatures for about 10 years now. I started to get a little more serious about my painting about 5 years ago but stopped painting in general after I moved into an apartment that I couldn't really get a good setup going. My wife and I recently moved and I have started to get into painting again. I posted pictures of my Archaon model that I painted about 3.5 years ago for everyones review and comments. I realize that I have a long way to go until I am up to the great standards that some of you paint to so please feel free to comment on anything I post. This site is great and it has inspired me to try some different techniques.

Hello, I think we are here to help each other to improve and be a better painter than who we were, as well as share the fun an ideas about painting and / or other issues of our lives. To me, that is why I join the forum as a member and have my participation in it, and not being a just visitor of the forum.
yes i know what you mean about space, im also much more productive since i changed home and have a corner just for the hobby... meanwile welcome and fell free to have fun with us.
