I'm not into Hours Heresy (didn't read any of the books), but cool that they make GW fluff come true :)

Honestly, you should give it a try. I'm not a great reader, and the few books I read take me soo long to read that it's annoying, but the horus heresy ones are just really cool books. It gives you a lot of background history, and are nice source of ideas imo

I wanted to give them one day a try, but there are so many of them. I don't know which to start with. Some books were released later, but talking about times before the previous books.
I buy Black Library books, but only the Warhammer based ones. I don't want to spend so more money on Hours Heresy :D I also don't know anyone who has them.

Maybe the first one, would be a good start :D And yeah, there are lots of them (around 20 or so) but they're really cool. I started reading them like two years after the first release and I already read half of them

Well, Black Library books are nice, but HH are really better than the Warhammer ones (I'm not saying that Warhammer ones are bad, some of them are great (the Malus Darkblade series is awsome))

Bleh, bleh, bleh. And another bleh for the price factor. Are those guys still sane? I mean if they pack a piece of shit in a "Horus Heresy" wrapper people will still buy it?

It's pre heresy...what did you expect? Carebears marines with puppy Orks? Even if I don't like old stuff, I'm pretty happy with those releases and can't wait to see what's next. Of course I would like to see a bit more love to something else than the marines and the necrons, some more orks and tyranids would be cool too, but they're working on what peeps buy most, ie, space marines. Can't blame them. Plus, it's about the Horus Heresy, so it was meant to be space marines mostly

I'm playing 40k for around 18 years now. I know and like the HH series books. Still I consider those jetbikes to be poorly sculpted and waay to expensive. And that was my point.. :bonk:

At GD Australia, Forge World representative announced that they:
(...) want to make all the weapon options/units available they can to “stop little companies springing up in Poland”.
Nice, isn't it? They got motivated and acknowledged the existence of small Polish manufacturers ^^
