Hi I'm new here so I thought I'd show something I'm working on.
This is made from Sculpey and I'm really enjoying using it. ork 003 by parkadge, on Flickr
I used some real copper and Steel sheet for the armour- not 100% happy with it- it doesn't look real - have to find some good patinas to treat it with. The spikes are from Milliput
I just put a green wash on the figure to see how it looked-that's not the finished paint job
not bad, not bad at all
have you considered smoothing the surface a little bit more? I know it's an ork's skin, but it kinda looks too rough in places.
I'd love to paint it, btw
Thanks, Yes I'll probably go over the surface again with some fine sand paper or steel wool. That's one of the reasons I put the wash of green on- it shows up all the texture
