Love the gritty look, fits perfectly to the SW fluff in my book. Hard to judge the painting without some close-up shots

For gaming uses more then ok
If I could recommend one thing, it would be to use 'decal fix' for transfers.

I've used it (Teastors) but still didn't help much.
