I like the gold parts the iron ones might be better if other colors were used like oranges, but the main observation i can do and using your previous miniature is that you didnt go with bolder highlights as before, other than that looks cool

I feel like i am taking a step back photo wise. I might fool around with this mini a little more and try for some better pics. I was actually pretty pleased with this guy... of course until I saw the pics. Why is it when a mini is blown up to ten times it's size it no longer seems so special? Anyway, I liked the idea of trying out some turquoise on the mini. There's some on the base the mini proper, and I tried to put some in the blade. I don't know if it was a great idea but I kinda liked it. Thanks for looking, and any tips appreciated. I tried to up the contrast again on the mini but it sure doesn't look like it. It's funny, in the hand it almost seems in spots too contrasty, cartoonish in spots. Yet in the pic it screams for more I think.

Re: Scott Radom's stuff.
which single elements I like best? scarf, mask, trousers, wheel on the base (or whatever it is). why? because of the contrast.
as for the turqoise elements - I'm now in "monochrome" phase maybe, but these draw too much attention from the rest.
I also think that you still can do much more for the presentation basing-wise.
good stuff, I can only recommend being bolder with your paints anbd brushes

I like the collar of the leather coat and the back of the coat - they look like leather. well done!
the belt/scarf is very good and creates an obvious focal point.
good job on the stone (realistic!) and uniform (good chiaroscuro on the trousers)

Trying to act on the advice of picking bolder colours and as someone pointed out all my stuff kinda looks the same. So I tried to branch out on this mini and I took the five colours I use the most and set them aside. I tried painting white which came out as a cream colour 'cause I started the basecoat too dark. Overall I think it's not bad but STILL...
-Needs more contrast
-White looks off
-Base could have more done with it. Maybe some flowers might be a good thing to buy?
Thanks for all the help gang.

Re: Scott Radom's stuff.
Both paintjobs are good i just dont like the bases they are in my opinion overpowering the minis, other than that good job.
By the way do a crazy mini where you can take every thing you do to the extreme, highlights and all

Mahon, I had to google "chiaroscuro"! Learn something every day!
Maru, I know I should have done a lightsaber! I didn't think of it until the mini was mounted on the base and I was too lazy to switch it up.
Pandadosmares, That's a point about the bases. I enjoy doing them but I'll try a couple with some less elaborate bases and see how they look. TY!
Nameless, I'll try to use some different colours from time to time. I enjoyed the turquoise on that DK dude and need to branch out more.
Much appreciated!

On the picture of her back there seems to be a paint stain under her left arm.
Other than that very nice paintjob!
