How silly or unfair can one be to rip artwork like this and hope it goes unnoticed?
Nocturna Models
Re: Nocturna Models
I also noticed the similarities between these two models. I didn't know the artwork though...

Seriously? If they had rights, they would name it Elric and gave him a proper paintjob.Nameless wrote:the first one (JoeK Minis) didn't have rights but made an agreement afterwards. Mini is not sold anymore, I believe.
Perhaps Nocturna obtained permission prior to releasing this model?
My hopes are low as this company already did that to Raistlin from Dragonlance.
I can't stand the complaining "Uuuu, ohh, we are a niche market, licensce would kill us".
Mentioned JoeK did a super cool model in a co-op with the comic book artist. Knight Models got Marvel and Lucas licenses.
If this can be done, there is no explanation whatsoever.
Unless I see that this is a licensed product I will not participate is an illegal action. It's like buying a car that you know was stolen.

Re: Nocturna Models
Andrea avoides licenses like this too by giving them different names. Guess it's a loophole

EDIT: I saw "The Sorcerer" now. They also have Conan a.k.a. "The Usurper"
Re: Nocturna Models
I really like most of their releases, they are detailed and just interesting. Perhaps it's the way they've presented the models which make a big difference?
