Now that is an Orc, and I shall add it to my Christmas list along with the Elf.

54mm is a scale, I've read somewhere, that the total height is approximately 70mm.
This is another great model (apart from ears, which are IMO too big) in Warlord Saga line. Hope, that Reaper Master Series Miniatures will stand up to the challenge and introduce at least equally good models :)
Finally there will be some nice fantasy models in bigger scale.
BTW - Andrea is preparing 54mm models based on Narnia Chronicles (probably the movie is an inspiration, not the book). Another fantasy goodness :)

Am I the only one that doesn't really like this model? I mean the sculpting is great, as is the painting, but I don't like the short legs and massive body and arms. Maybe that's ork anatomy, but it just doesn't work for me. (the same goes for the rackham orks etc....)

Oh well, kudos to the sculpter and painter for a good quality model :)

and for ilyad games orks as well ;)
I suppose those companies are aiming in achieving gorilla-anatomy style, to differ orks from well-built humans.
In case of Ilyad and Andrea companies - this does not bother me. However, Rackham orks' anatomy is exaggerated. The difference between small legs and muscular body is too big, imo. This is best seen on some kind of a boss riding some kind of a wild pig - sorry, I do not know now original names :)
