This is yet another great sculpt from Jacques-Alexandre Gillois, this time from a concept by Shannon Tindle. Shannon is one of the genius character designers who worked on Coraline (amongst other things), but he's a miniatures guy too, and it was a real pleasure to work with him on this one. I'm quite sure it won't be the last piece he'll do for Studio McVey. I'll be showing his beautiful concept here when the Blight Witch officially releases next week. JAG and Thomas David (who sculpted Vitharr and Sharro for us) will actually be in the booth right next to ours at Salute.

I liked Coraline very much, so I would be surprised to know I didn't like this concept..

there should be lightnings shooting from her eyes and fireballs from her ass....
I don't like this one.

The last one is ok but nothing special. All McVey miniatures have very nice details and I like the proportions.
I like the Ar-Fiach model very much and it reminds me of a book written by Jacek Dukaj named Wroniec (I don’t know how to translate it to English but It’s a very good book). This model is very original and I will buy one
As for the Blight Witch I would say that she is very angry that her hat is on fire hehehe.
