Goals for 2011!

Goals for me:

- Have at least a fully functional 50 point Khador army painted.
- Finish at least 5 showcase pieces
- Collect at least 1 more fig from CofC members for my collection!

Hi guys! More than one third of the year is already behind us, time to look at the goals briefly.

I'm in a slump once again (hence my absence on the forums the last couple of weeks), mainly caused by my job

In a way to motivate myself to pick up the brush again I decided to look at my goals... doesn't look very good

Start using my new painting studio. done
Implement a new layout for my blog. still in beta
Meet Skrit and Thomas at some event, and maybe other CofC members. no
Go to a paint get-together. no
Try to get Jasper (Mordred) more involved into the hobby again. not really...
Visit the following events: Crusade (Belgium), Duzi & GD Germany. crusade = ok
Paint.... something...? Maybe 5 good quality figures is a realistic number... two so far: Tau Air Caste, Han Solo
Expand my collection of basing materials. in progress
Write more on my blog, 50 posts is the minimum, 75 will be great. 19 so far

Okay, let's make some plans official for the new year! Seeing 2010 was a lost year for me I really do hope 2011 is going to be a lot better and I am going to fight for it to make sure that happens!!! Although the following list is more on the miniatures side of life I do hope everyone else manages to succeed in all other goals set for the new year!

Okay, nothing too ambitious except for maybe one or two things but here goes:

Finish ME4 mini. yes
Paint and make a display base for 4 Rackham Goblins. (Becbunzen+3 Strohm Warriors) No
Commission and release atleast 1 miniature! working on it!
Finish atleast one of my own planned sculpts. working on it!
Visit Golden Demon Germany to meet up with my CofC friends (and maybe head on to Poland for Hussar?!) If I go somewhere it's Hussar!

I've got the feeling I am forgetting something so I'll re-visit this list when I remember!

By plane. I wanted to go by teleportation but alas it's not invented yet! ^^

So after half year I can say:
- 1. 4 entries for Hussar 2011 - :shifty: there is still time...
- 2. 2-3 entries for Grey Seer 2011 - there is a bit less time, but still there is some...
+ 3. something large scale - Pegaso Indian
+4. 5 minis from other companies, that I have never painted - there was already Pegaso, Anima Tactics and Reaper this year
- 5. 3 units and a 1 character for my ToG Iyanden eldar - nothing here, kind of lost motivation
+ 6. finish my ToG Hell Dorado band at 200pts - will update my tale soon
+7. 3 units for my VC army - skelies, dire wolves are done, Varghulf and something more will come
- 8. sculpt something -

Generally this year I want to paint more for TT and start painting at competition lvl

definitely a lot of TT from me this year, but I've started to play more and I need painted minis
