Rzymek's Abominations

Post by Rzymek »

Well the time has come. I decided I can not be the only one to suffer the sight of my goddamn monsters so here is the current WIPs under my maming brushes:>

So the first one is the interesting new task of a "from-keel" Dwarven Airship construction:
This is the everall simplistic plan :

The Base size for the model is equivalent to the one below.

(yes , the base is planned to be 100/200 mm)

The general Idea is to construct the airship's sceleton out of wooden planks , and fill it up with some wet newspapers and than go greenstuffy like crazy. The airship cannot hover on a stick so it will be attached to a docking tower on the base with a hook and some moorings. The overall model legth is to be 40+cm

The other projects are the below Demonettes of Slaneesh on the 50% completed stage already:

And my personal army, Veteran of many of master-class tournaments is finally goin after i read the new rulebook and lost the faith in the game and found new faith in the mission of the brush.

Great concept for an airship, would be interested in seeing how you do this one in more detail :D
Getting back into the thick (or rather thin as in thinning my paints) of it, not picked up a brush in some time so this may hurt a bit until I get used to the feel of them again

The airship may become one of the most uncommon projects shown here :)

The number of minis you manage to paint at the same time never ceases to impress me. But this time the main award goes to this photo:

I rather like how crisp and clean they came out. Plus the vibrant colours really match each other well.

Well the photo is El Duce's and I admire his patience. Especially because of the above army of around 260 models being photographed. But i think the seekers are more like factory quality...en masse production but thanks:)
