Our take on Aeronautica Imperialis Ultramarines forces

In the vast and war-torn skies of the Warhammer 40,000 universe, the Ultramarines fleet of Aeronautica Imperialis stands as a testament to the glory and valor of the Imperium. With each aircraft in the resplendent colors of Ultramar and their Successor Chapters, our miniatures allow to replay their battles for aerial domination.

The Ultramarines’ Aerial Might

The Ultramarines, legendary for their tactical prowess and unyielding courage, translate their battlefield dominance into the aerial arenas of Aeronautica Imperialis. We wanted this spirit of Ultramar to be visible in our paintjobs. Each aircraft, from the swift Xiphon Interceptors to the powerful Thunderhawk Gunships, was meticulously painted by the skilled hands of Marta. Her work captures the essence of chapters like the Novamarines, Nemesis Chapter, Doom Eagles, Aurora Chapter, Patriarch of Ulixis, Mortifactors, Black Consuls, and Eagle Warriors.

Craftsmanship and Lore

Marta’s brushwork brings to life the rich lore of the Ultramarines, with each model echoing the chapter’s history. The deep blues, stark whites, strong reds and regal golds adorning the aircraft are a tribute to the Ultramarines’ heritage and their Successor Chapters’ valor. These miniatures serve as a bridge between the game’s strategic depth and the expansive narrative of the Warhammer 40,000 universe.

Beyond the Game

This Aeronautica Imperialis Ultramarines collection is a fleet of stories. While she could have painted each aircraft in the simple Ultramarines color scheme, Marta went for something else. With their individual paintjobs, each painted aircraft is a character in its own right. With a background as rich as any Space Marine, they are a symbol of the Ultramarines’ commitment to defending humanity.

Conclusion

We hope that Marta’s work will serve as inspiration for fans of Aeronautica Imperialis or Ultramarines. Lilith from NomNom Figures: Better Than The Official Figure?

In the shadowed and tumultuous realm of the Diablo IV universe, Lilith stands as a figure of immense power and profound complexity. Known as the Daughter of Hatred, she is the progeny of the Prime Evil Mephisto and the sister of Lucion. Her lore is as rich as it is dark, woven into the very fabric of the game’s mythology.

The Making of an Icon

Thanks to the great sculpt from NomNom Figures, we were able to bring this iconic character to life. First, we 3D-printed the figure. Then Ańa used her artistic touch to illuminate Lilith’s complex persona. The inspiration came from the rich lore of the Diablo IV universe.

Lilith [NomNom Figures]

Lilith’s Lore: The Daughter of Hatred

Lilith’s tale begins with her rebellion against the endless war between the High Heavens and the Burning Hells. Disenchanted with the ceaseless conflict, she sought to create a new world, a sanctuary where peace could flourish away from the eternal strife. This ambition led her to the arms of the archangel Inarius, and together, they birthed the realm of Sanctuary.

Their union was more than a mere alliance. It was a confluence of opposites that gave rise to the Nephalem, beings of both angelic and demonic essence. These offspring were the first humans, powerful entities that threatened the balance of power in the cosmos. Lilith, as the Mother of Sanctuary, fiercely protected her children, even against the will of Heaven and Hell.

Design Inspiration

Ańa was inspired by Lilith’s haunting beauty that juxtaposes her demonic nature. The figure captures her commanding presence with wings resembling flesh and shadow fusion, and the glow of an otherworldly fire.

Craftsmanship Excellence

Every detail of this figure reflects meticulous craftsmanship. From its intricate design of the sculpt, high-quality 3D-printing, to the vibrant colors capturing Lilith’s enigmatic aura – it confirms the skills and artistic qualities of everybody involved in the process.

Museum Piece

As the model was created for the Verko’s Vault museum, making it unavailable for purchase, you may want to have another figure painted for your own collection.

Don’t hesitate, and contact us to arrange a free consultation, during which we may discuss your expectations and decide how to approach it in an optimal way.

Lilith [NomNom Figures]

Conclusion

Lilith’s character is a tapestry of ambition, love, betrayal, and survival. She is a mother, a creator, a destroyer, and a savior. Her actions have shaped the world of Sanctuary and the fate of all who dwell within it. As players delve into the depths of Diablo IV, they will find themselves entangled in the legacy of Lilith, the enigmatic and indomitable Daughter of Hatred.

Remember, Lilith from NomNom Figures and our interpretation of this model can be considered more than just a collectible figure; she embodies a saga that transcends time and space, forever etched in the annals of gaming history.

Waterfall Troll

Most of us would imagine a troll as a guardian of a bridge. But Ańa‘s diorama puts a troll next to a waterfall. Maybe it’s not a troll but a cyclops, or maybe a cyclopean troll?

If you want to feel the atmosphere of the scene, why don’t you read on?

Troll at a waterfall – The story behind the diorama

In the shadow of the moonlit waterfall, a hulking troll chews the remains of a guard. Its yellow, reptilian eye darting about with feral caution. The clinking of chains mingles with the sound of rushing water — a stark reminder of the creature’s recent escape from captivity. Its hide, a patchwork of fresh wounds and the remnants of broken weapons, tells a tale of a fierce struggle for freedom.

The troll, now free but wary, seeks solace by the waterfall’s base, the rhythmic cascade providing a semblance of peace. As it tears into its unintended meal, there’s a palpable tension in its movements—a mix of fear and the instinct to survive. The night, usually silent and still, is alive with the troll’s heavy breaths and the wet sounds of its feast. It is a moment of respite, however fleeting, for a creature thrust back into the wilds, its single eye ever watchful for the next threat.

Waterfall Troll (or Cyclops)
Waterfall Troll (or Cyclops)

So the scene is built around the Blind Cyclops model by Alvaro Ribeiro, and it was created by Ańa in 2020. The creature was painted in the colors commonly used on Stone Trolls from Warhammer.

The rest of the story is told by the diorama – the waterfall, the moonlight, the whole ambience.

The miniature was created for Ańa’s private collection, but if somebody offers a good price, we may actually arrange a deal.
