Chest of Colors forum

I'm painting this for a friend, and to distract myself from the grind of Tale Ogres. It's one of the Lady figs from the Bretonnian line.

Tanya was a big help with picking out colors for the blond hair, and it worked out really well. The dark purple cloak didn't come through well in the pictures, it looks better in person. Still need to do more than basecoat the face, and the other stuff. The dress is going to stay black, though I need to highlight it. It'll be a challenge to highlight shiney black cloth.

That's also the first slaty base I've done. Tanya was working on those this weekend, and I snagged some of her extra A+B to do a couple of my own. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

the picture is quite dark....could you show us a brighter picture

brighter and closer pis would surely help
I also wanted paint severa cloaks in black latex / leather way but it always turned out grey...
