heya,
they seem to be very popular these days, with several people painting an inquisitor

here is my version of the 40k witchhunter :
PICTURE
I tried to go for a roman style look, and I will paint the entire miniature in greys and reds, with propably a purple sword, allthough I'm not sure about that yet. the face is not finished.
so far I finished the golden rim, the nmm armour, the grey cape and the red cloth.

I think red cloth looks very good, I like dark color scheme. I Agree with illusionrip , only armour need more shadows, keep us updates

smooth painting so far
I only have a slight problem with the NMM on the "I" above his head... the reflections seem wrong...

I agree with illusionrip on the red cloth and armour. The armour would benefit from a darker shading I think. And like corvus said, the inquisitor sign looks a bit strange.
I'm sure you'll make a beautifull mini out of this one too ^^

heya,
only a small update but a very large part of the miniature

his cloak. I try not to use pure black for shading on this miniature, and imho it results in much more subtle shading and highlighting, I'm very happy with the results.
I took a pretty big picture so the technique can be judged properly. If you don't like it please be harsh and tell me. It's my first time trying this out so I need all good and bad input.
