I'm a new member here at the Chest of Colors forum and I wanted to introduce myself - my name is Matthew.
I've been a hobbyist painter for about the last 6 years. In the last few months I've been trying my hand at photography, posting pics of my work, and writing about miniatures, mainly at my website https://www.oldenhammer.com
Since I don't know many miniature painters personally, it's been a really satisfying experience to meet so many people online - I've been amazed at how supportive this community is.
My main interest is painting and collecting vintage Citadel minis from the salad days in the mid-1980's. I really like the sense of whimsy and character in those early sculpts. I try to use these minis in a variety of games, both vintage and modern, including Saga, Talisman, Descent, etc.
I'm looking forward to meeting people here and getting some helpful feedback. Thanks for reading!
