Chest of Colors forum

Hello everyone,

I started a Blood Angels Battle company 3 yrs ago, I want to complete it I have around 7000 points to finish and paint.

It follows the standard company format

1 company master
Command squad

6 tactical Squads
2 Assault Squads
2 devastator Squads

5 rhinos
1 razorback

There is also the following stuff for large scale games

3 storm Ravens
2 vindicators
3 land raider Crusaders
1 Baal Predator

3 terminator Squads
20 Sanguinairy Guard
3 sanguinairy Priests
1 chaplain in terminator armour
Baneblade.

I want to get this army finished and painted, but it just is dragging out and driving me

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

now that's a serious tale.... anything painted yet?

tips for you smaller army maybe?
1. try to find a compromise between satisfying quality level and time required for painting to that level.
2. divide the army into consumable chunks.
3. set up some goals - 1 unit per month. 2 units. unit+machine. 100 points. 500 points. 1000 points. see 1. above
4. go, go go!!!

As for the amount of painting, I think Nameless summed up pretty much everything (and I do understand the feeling because I have perhaps not the same amount of points but my Salamanders army is quite huge as well)
