I painted the skin this week. I'm really happy with the result.
Instead of layer a basecoat, a wash and edge highlight, I used the layering method. I already tried this method but I finished then with an edge highlight. This time I used more layers (more mixes). I want to go further in this direction.

Re: Werner's WIP
I'm going to participate in a painting challenge from my local gaming club (http://www.goldengoblin.be/). This is a yearly painting challenge just for fun. This year the miniature is 'La fin de la bataille' (http://www.figone.fr/en/la-fin-de-la-ba ... rettyPhoto).
I started painting her dress/cloak. Again I used the layering technique. After some comments I tried to get a more smooth transition between the base color and highlights. I'm happy with the result and I personally see an improvement. So thanks for the comments which are going to make me a better painter. So don't hesitate to give me more comments and/or tips.

Re: Werner's WIP
To make the shades look more interesting add a bit of purple to the mix.
Generally I have learned that red is the color that you can just shade and it will look very good. Highlighting it with adding white/yellow will make it look pink or orange.

I finished the three other wargs. Again I used the layering technique. After some comments I tried to get a more smooth transition between the base color and highlights. Re: Werner's WIP
I finished the skin for one of The Illuminated. I used the shading (instead of wash) and layering technique.
I still have difficulties with the shading.
Any C&C is welcome.

I finished Azog's White Warg. I didn't use the drybrush technique but I layered everything. Any C&C is welcome.
