When we arrived there was a lot of different things going on, with a lot of the steampunk theme across the whole weekend. So the early morning was a little busy with people setting up stores and stands etc, plus there was a keynote presentation for new releases from Privateer Press:
1. High Command - a card game where you can play in the warmahordes world on a larger scale in a semi-campaign map scenario
2. More tournaments and events spanning across the world
3. Release of a new faction as mentioned elsewhere on the forum, the convergence of Cyris
The first day i spent playing at the iron arena tables just playing casual games and looking at all the neat stuff. Lots of cool scenario tables for the iron arenas as shown in the next set of photos.

Then there was a show from CMON, which had a fair few entries for their painting competition and they were also demo-ing darkage, sedition wars, rivet wars, zombicide and super dungeon explorer. Which was all pretty interesting and has made me want to try out super dungeon explorer.

Dark Age

SuperDungeon Explorer

Other CMON Games

There was also a show from other game companies,
-Dystopian Wars

-Hawk Games

-Mercs

-Dropzone Commander

-Zpocalypse

-And lots of lots of other boards games/card games etc.

-Some very strange but cool people

So my 2nd day was taken up by the Hardcore tournament which i had won 2 out of my 5 games, but I did win the mastercraftsman prize for best painted army. And then the following day more casual games and i won the painting competition with my Kraken, to get my plane ticket paid for to attend Adepticon in Chicago !
So it was all fun fun fun
