hello
a good idea is to imform viuers about lvl of painting "thisarmy is commisioned on TT standard or on showcase standard or whatever other )
- thats actualy helps a lot with comments

eny way i would advice to highlight edges on black tanks , end other large units- iven on used 1 - with a simple edge highlight
that make so much more sharp effect on minis
- that apllay moustly to tanks and Dreeds in this case

I like these: the force look definitely unified by dirst and warnstripes

the models look good. actually i like the dusty look very much.
i would only suggest adding some edging, highlighting along the edges a bit to define detals a bit better - particularly on the larger models like the rhino.

There is a lot of weathering on all miniatures, but not many battle damage - bullet holes, crackles, scratches. It would make them look more experienced with war ;)

Thank you all for your nice comments and feedback.

I will pick up some words said here and explain what it all is about :D

Before i go further i need to tell that my leveling on paintings is NOT similar to the typical levels on CMON or Golden Deamon Standards. I worked for Games Workshop many Years and so my levels are a bit oriantated on the Paint levels of the GW Store Painting levels and the its all abot different Tabletop Standards.

I offer 5 Levels as you can see on my Blog ( english version will be added soon )

Level 1: Base Painting: Base Colors and Washes
Level 2: Higher Base Painting: Base Color, Washes, Accent
Level 3: TT Standard: Base Color, Washes, Accent, Highlights
Level 4: Higher TT Standard: Base Color, Washes, Accent, Highlights, easy freehands, pigments, camouflage
Level 5: High TT Standard: Base Color, Washes, Accent, Highlights, easy freehands, pigments, camouflage, Higher Detail, complexe Freehands, Light effects, Metal Effects, other effects

So as you can see i have NO Showcase Level, i could do it but i take mostly complete Army Comissions and there no Showcase Paintings are needed.

So the Paintlevels differ on this Army.
The Tanks, the Marines and the renegades are Level 4, The Hellbrute and the Decimator are Level 5, the upcomming Chars will be Level 5 too.

Yess the End highlights would add an extra Effect on those but i have to manage Time to Money and so such things may be not added normally.....

During my latest Paintjobs i added them step by step and im more happy with it and i will do that from now on as i learned in the 25 years of painting i already do :) but that means in final that i have to go up a lil bit with the price on some levels next Year ;) not much but a bit :D

I also tryout some special techniques like the salt technique as you can see in other thread on the Space Wolves Landraider

BTW: MAHON: You should remember me as you check the memberlist under the name Jaycan ;)

So i hope all that explains a bit what i do with my paintservice and the painting :)

greets
Jay
